Badgers
Quants staff are highly experienced in badger surveys, mitigation and licensing. Whether your project requires sett closure, fencing/tunnels, artificial sett construction or just a survey, we can help your project to run on time and budget.
Badgers live in underground setts which they dig in woodlands, hedgerows, arable fields and even under roads. Badgers and their setts are fully protected by law. If a project involves destroying or disturbing a sett, a licence may be required, although Quants will advise on alternative solutions which may not require a licence, e.g. methods of working which avoid significant disturbance of badgers.
