Ecological Impact Assessment

The Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) forms part of the full Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process, which may be required on major developments or developments in sensitive areas. The end result of the EIA process is an Environmental Statement (ES), a document which may be required at Public Inquiry. Ecological Impact Assessments are also used to inform the planning process, external to Public Inquiry.

The EIA process identifies the potential environmental impacts of a development and assesses likely effects on ecology, landscape, archaeology and air quality etc. Quants are highly experienced in Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) and can guide you through the process to the delivery of the Ecological chapter of an Environmental Statement. By understanding the process inside out, we help to develop the correct mitigation and compensation measures to ensure projects run as smoothly and swiftly as possible.
